A Moldovan drama film “The Unsaved” (2013), directed by Igor Cobileanski and starring Igor Babiac, Sergiu Voloc, Ela Ionescu among others.

Its a simple story of a young kid, Viorel (Igor Babiac) 19 year old and unemployed. He goes along with his friend Gasca (Sergiu Voloc) who is experimenting with hand gliding. They go to a remote mountain and try to hand glide, but every time it fails.

Viorel is living with his mom and she is desperate for him to start working. She recommends Viorel to a friend of her late husband who is in the police. Viorel goes to meet him and gets a job as a helping hand in the police canteen.

Viorel likes Maria (Ela Ionescu) who is working in a salon and cuts his hair. Maria is cute and she is older to Viorel but still he likes her. Its like infatuation. Maria’s boyfriend is inside the jail, he is into drugs business. Maria sleeps with the cop in the case.

Viorel doesn’t like that and he does some damage. Viorel wants to get away from the drug business which Gasca indulges in. He wants to lead a new life and be with Maria.

Its a short simple story of a wandering youth having his own aims and desires. Igor Babiac has done a good role as Viorel. Ela Ionescu has a short role in the movie, she has done a good job as well. IMDB 4/10
