A Malawian drama movie “Where my Heart Belongs” directed by Lawrence Nyale and Bester Kauwa and starring Modester Kanyenda, Kendall Kamwendo, Brazio Matius among others.

Its a simple love triangle, where Lucy (Modester Kanyenda) is a working woman in Malawi and Eric (Brazio Matius) is wooing her. He is rich and so able to buy her expensive gifts.

One day her car breaks down and Dave (Kendall Kamwendo) is a mechanic passes by and repairs her car. She falls in love with him and starts visiting her garage. He has a 3 year old daughter Faith from an earlier relationship.

While Lucy is not ready for Eric, on the other hand Dave does not want to commit to Lucy. Its an interesting triangle of love with heartbreak, redemption, grief, and a twist in the end. IMDB 4/10

Kendall Kamwendo and Modester Kanyenda have done decent acting in their prime roles. Overall a neatly directed movie with a good script, nice pace, and interest is kept alive in the movie even towards the end.
